Summary:

Three different forms of human pancreatic procarboxypeptidase A have been isolated. The A1 and A2forms are monomeric proteins with different biochemical properties. Carboxypeptidase A1 is amonomeric pancreatic exopeptidase. It is involved in zymogen inhibition.
