MaxiKβ Rabbit pAb ES2754
Specifications
| 50µl / 100µl |
Background:
MaxiK channels are large conductance, voltage and calcium-sensitive potassium channels which are fundamental to the control of smooth muscle tone and neuronal excitability. MaxiK channels can be formed by 2 subunits: the pore-forming alpha subunit and the modulatory beta subunit. Calcium-activated potassium channel subunit beta-4 encoded by KCNMB4 is an auxiliary beta subunit which slows activation kinetics, leads to steeper calcium sensitivity, and shifts the voltage range of current activation.
Alternative names:
KCNMB4; Calcium-activated potassium channel subunit beta-4; BK channel subunit beta-4; BKbeta4; Hbeta4; Calcium-activated potassium channel; subfamily M subunit beta-4; Charybdotoxin receptor subunit beta-4; K(VCA)beta-4; Maxi K channel sub
