Human MC4R full length protein-synthetic nanodisc FLP100122
Specifications
| 10µg / 50µg / 100µg |
Alternative names:
BMIQ20
Description:
Human MC4R full length protein-synthetic nanodisc
Background:
The protein is a membrane-bound receptor and member of the melanocortin receptor family. The encoded protein interacts with adrenocorticotropic and MSH hormones and is mediated by G proteins. This is an intronless gene. Defects in this gene are a cause of autosomal dominant obesity.
Protein families:
Druggable Genome, GPCR, Transmembrane
Protein pathways:
Neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction
Expression host:
HEK293
Target:
MC4R
Molecular weight:
The human full length MC4R protein has a MW of 36.9 kDa
Formulation / Reconstitution:
Lyophilized from nanodisc solubilization buffer (20 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0). Normally 5% - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions.
Usage:
Research use only
