Human IFN alpha6 (C-6His) Protein PME30020
Alternative names:
Interferon Alpha-6;IFN-Alpha-6;Interferon Alpha-54;Interferon Alpha-K;LeIF K;IFNA6
Description:
Recombinant Human Interferon Alpha-6 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ser21-Glu189 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
Background:
Interferon a-6 (IFN-a6) is a secreted protein which belongs to the a/β interferon family. IFN-a6 is produced by macrophages, expressed at low level, only 1.0% of the average gene in this release. IFN-a6 contains interferon alpha, beta and delta domain. IFN-a has antiviral activities. Interferon stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase.
