Description:

Recombinant mouse TACI protein with C-terminal human Fc tag

Background:

Receptor for TNFSF13/APRIL and TNFSF13B/TALL1/BAFF/BLYS that binds both ligands with similar high affinity. Mediates calcineurin-dependent activation of NF-AT, as well as activation of NF-kappa-B and AP-1. Involved in the stimulation of B- and T-cell function and the regulation of humoral immunity (By similarity).[UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot Function]

Molecular weight:

The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 40.2 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of mTACI-hFc is approximately 40-55 kDa due to glycosylation.

Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature.
