Human TIMP4 Protein, hFc Tag PME100765
Specifications
| 10µg / 50µg / 100µg |
Alternative names:
TIMP-4
Description:
Recombinant human TIMP4 protein with C-terminal human Fc tag
Background:
This gene belongs to the TIMP gene family. The proteins encoded by this gene family are inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracellular matrix. The secreted, netrin domain-containing protein encoded by this gene is involved in regulation of platelet aggregation and recruitment and may play role in hormonal regulation and endometrial tissue remodeling. Molecular characterization:
TIMP4(Cys30-Pro224) hFc(Glu99-Ala330)
Molecular weight:
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 48.6 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of TIMP4-hFc is approximately 55-70 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag:
C-Human Fc Tag
Expression host:
HEK293
Target:
TIMP4
Purity:
The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Formulation / Reconstitution:
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions of reconstitution.
Storage:
Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature.
