Alternative names:
Interleukin-17 receptor B;L-17 receptor B;L-17RB;ytokine receptor-like 4;L-17Rh1;L17Rh1;L-17B receptor
Description:
Recombinant human IL17RB protein with C-terminal 6×His tag
Background:
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine receptor. This receptor specifically binds to IL17B and IL17E, but does not bind to IL17 and IL17C. This receptor has been shown to mediate the activation of NF-kappaB and the production of IL8 induced by IL17E. The expression of the rat counterpart of this gene was found to be significantly up-regulated during intestinal inflammation, which suggested the immunoregulatory activity of this receptor. Molecular characterization:
IL17RB(Arg18-Gly288) 6×His tag
Molecular weight:
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 30.7 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of TEM1 -His is approximately 35-55 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag:
C-6×His Tag
Expression host:
HEK293
Target:
IL17RB
Purity:
The purity of the protein is greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Formulation / Reconstitution:
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions of reconstitution.
Storage:
Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature.
