Human IL20 Protein, hFc Tag PME101083
Specifications
| 10µg / 50µg / 100µg |
Alternative names:
IL-20;Cytokine Zcyto10
Description:
Recombinant human IL20 Protein with C-terminal Human Fc tag
Background:
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine structurally related to interleukin 10 (IL10). This cytokine has been shown to transduce its signal through signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in keratinocytes. A specific receptor for this cytokine is found to be expressed in skin and upregulated dramatically in psoriatic skin, suggesting a role for this protein in epidermal function and psoriasis. Molecular characterization:
IL20(Leu25-Glu176) hFc(Glu99-Ala330)
Molecular weight:
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 43.7 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of IL20-hFc is approximately 35-55 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag:
C-Human Fc Tag
Expression host:
HEK293
Target:
IL20
Purity:
The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Formulation / Reconstitution:
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions of reconstitution.
Storage:
Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature.
